INSECT VISION
How do insects see the world we share with them? Representing more than 80% of the animal kingdom, insects experience reality in ways that are utterly different from our own. Insect Vision offers a glimpse into their extraordinary world.
The installation takes the abstract yet anatomically accurate form of 13 giant insect antennae. Each antenna houses unique optical effects, representing different aspects of an insect’s vision.
This installation combines science, art, and philosophy, inviting visitors to learn through discovery and exploration. Using intuitive and immersive interactions, Insect Vision reveals the astonishing ways insects perceive their environment.
What if you could see parts of the light spectrum invisible to humans, possess a nearly 360-degree field of vision, or navigate with three additional eyes on the top of your head? Can you imagine what it would feel like to experience the world this way?
By allowing you to see the world through these unusual perspectives, Insect Vision challenges you to think differently—not only about how insects process their sensory realities, but also about how we, as humans, perceive our own.
The result is a space that sparks curiosity, wonder, and a deeper connection to the natural world, inviting you to see the extraordinary within the ordinary.
